I Moved to Bali. Am I really here for good?

It’s tempting to say that I wake up each day as if I’ve lived in Bali forever. Sometimes I do fall into the flow of day to day life and feel completely “here”. Other times I feel it is some sort of dream.

Am I really _living_ here? I’m _not_ a tourist???

One way that I’m grounding myself is by taking Indonesian language lessons. It’s really stretching my brain although sometimes I can say a full sentence, even though it’s in slow motion compared to the way the locals talk.

I’ve been here six weeks and the strange thing is that since my mindset from the beginning is that I’m not here just to visit, my entire experience feels very different from all of my previous travels. Perhaps because I’m no longer traveling. I’m residing here. Or attempting to reside here.
