My First Balinese Ceremony

My girlfriend Shelly was invited to a ceremony to celebrate her friend’s grandchild. The Hindu ceremony is a way to bring the baby into the Hindu world.

The food you get is a variety of sweetened rice and cassava specialties. There’s prayers and offerings and children dance. It’s lovely.
