Pererenan Beach Development: TBD

The beach that is closest to my property is a bit underdeveloped:

There’s a VW van selling both alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks and then there’s these chairs and tables. Further down are some cushion chairs from the somewhat rundown hotel that is closest to the beach.

On Sundays the locals arrive in droves and there’s quite a few vendors selling various Indonesian foods and snacks. It’s very low-key and lovely.

The next beach over is Echo Beach and there’s plenty of action there. Even more so at Batu Bolong beach where The Lawn and Old Man’s are situated.

On the one hand I’d really like to see some modest beach development. On the other hand it would mean the locals would potentially be pushed to the next underdeveloped beach. My hope is that the development would be such that locals and tourists can mingle. We’ll see.
