Finally there are some folks actually on the property and doing work. It’s critically important to work with your architect on as many details as possible in advance so that ideally there isn’t a single thing that the builder needs to change.

But those architectural decisions are made in offices, yet the structure needs to happen on the land. So it’s always great when there are workers on the property so you feel the project is more than an abstraction.
